I usually don't take cabs unless I am dead tired, or coming home really late. Last night I was both, so once I got out of the path station in Hoboken, I headed sraight for the cab stand. City rules state that the cabbies can only charge 3 dollars a ride within the Hoboken area, so the cabbies try to pick up at least three seperate passengers for the same ride. And of course, last night was no exception. So getting into line there was this guy that looked really familiar, and he was going to the same street address, so we both got into the same cab. It took me a minute, but finally I realized it was David Cross from Mr. Show. Well I kinda geeked-out when I realized it, which is really not like me, but I LOVED that show.
So life is a series of lessons, this one being that if I find myself face to face with someone I really admire for their wit, JUST SHUT THE HELL UP. You'll be glad you did.
