Well I think it's time to start this up again. If only to get into the practice of writing every day....

Really excited about Kaurismäki Goes America at BAM.

& I already bought my ticket to Hamlet Goes Business:

Updated for modern times and Kaurismäki’s own sensibilities, Hamlet’s dead father leaves him a controlling interest in his corporation. Timo Salminen’s shimmering black and white photography provides a foil to Hamlet’s attempts to stop the company from becoming world leaders in rubber-duck manufacturing.

Sounds like my kind of movie. Esp. since I really like Mr. K as a director - I've seen Ariel, The Match Factory Girl & Leningrad Cowboys, but it's been a long time since I've seen anything else, so it's time to make amends.

Hopefully it won't be too crowded.
