My reason for not posting....

It's been three weeks of unbelievably bad back pain, and since my regular routine isn't working out so great, I decided to try acupuncture. First visit was Monday. It worked pretty well, no more pain in my ankle, but the back is still pretty raw. At this point, I'm afraid to go to the gym and hurt it again, but I might try walking on the treadmill tonight.

So I have jerry-rigged my desk in a way that I can work standing up - which makes a world of difference. My feet are going to hurt, but that's still a lot better than the sitting down pain - think electric chair slow cooker, and you start to get the idea.

On the plus side, I'm getting to watch more TV! Woo-hoo! PBS has a special on Fidel Castro that's interseting. And I am totally addicted to the Discovery Health Channel - especially on emergency-room night.

BTW, I'm really honored that A Tiny Revolution has linked me to the site. His site is a rarity, exhaustive policical thought that is also very, very funny. Of course it puts some pressure to actually get some decent content going on here, esp. since all of his other links are so great, but I'm afraid I'm not up to the challenge....
